2027 JAMB CBT Practice in Nigeria: Study Plan & Free Trial

Preparing for the 2027 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)? OGB Admission Hub helps Nigerian candidates practise timed objective questions, review answers, check their intended subject combination and plan revision before the examination. This is an independent learning service, not the official JAMB registration website.

How to prepare for JAMB 2027 step by step

  1. Choose your target course and school. Check the programme's current entry rules instead of choosing subjects on the basis of popularity or a friend's selection.
  2. Confirm your four UTME subjects. Use of English is compulsory. The other three subjects depend on the programme. Verify your combination with the official JAMB IBASS eligibility checker and OGB's free eligibility tool.
  3. Set a weekly revision routine. Spread preparation across your four subjects and reserve time to revisit questions you missed, rather than repeating only familiar topics.
  4. Practise timed objective questions. Use the OGB CBT practice centre, read the answer corrections and note weak topics for the next study session.
  5. Measure improvement. Track your practice scores against your personal target with the 2027 JAMB Success Centre. Mock performance is useful feedback, not a prediction of your official UTME score.

What is included in OGB's online CBT practice?

The learning area offers JAMB/UTME timed objective practice, subject selection, scores, answer reviews and corrections. The same CBT area also offers WAEC and NECO objective-question practice. It is not an official JAMB examination platform, and availability of questions and topics can vary.

Access and pricing: Students can register or sign in to start a seven-day free online CBT trial. After the trial, 12 months of online CBT access costs ₦5,000, with payment through Paystack. Review the current pricing page before paying. The free admission eligibility checker and aggregate calculator are separate tools.

What should I study before attempting a full practice session?

Start with the syllabus or topic list relevant to your subjects, then review foundational concepts and practise short sets before longer timed sessions. After every practice, separate incorrect answers into three groups: topics you did not understand, questions you misread and questions you could not finish in time. Work on the biggest recurring problem first.

Check subject choices early: a high test score alone will not correct a wrong subject combination or missing O'Level requirement. Read the subject-combination guide and check the institution directories organised by Nigerian state.

Is online CBT the same as offline practice?

No. The online CBT centre and downloadable app options have different access and connection requirements. See OGB's downloads page for the currently supported Android, Windows and iPhone options and any offline limitations before installing. Do not assume that a downloaded package works without internet for initial sign-in.

Useful tools after your JAMB practice

Once you have a JAMB score, use the school-specific admission aggregate calculator. For application news, check forms and closing dates, admission news and school-specific updates. If applying through Direct Entry, use the Direct Entry eligibility checker instead of assuming UTME rules apply.
