NYSC 2026 Batch C Mobilisation Begins: Schools to Upload Senate Lists August 24–31 — What Prospective Corps Members Should Know
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has commenced preparations for the 2026 Batch ‘C’ mobilisation exercise , directing Corps Producing Institutions across Nigeria to begin uploading their Senate/Academic Board-approved lists. According to an official circular dated August 17, 2026 , the NYSC portal will be opened to institutions from August 24 to August 31, 2026 for the upload of approved graduates. The directive was addressed to Registrars of Corps Producing Institutions, with particular attention to Students Affairs Officers. NYSC 2026 Batch C Senate List Upload Dates According to the circular: Institutional Upload Opens: August 24, 2026 Institutional Upload Closes: August 31, 2026 Batch: 2026 Batch ‘C’ Mobilisation During this period, Students Affairs Officers of universities, polytechnics and other Corps Producing Institutions are expected to upload the details of graduates approved by their respective Senate or Academic Boards. NYSC Warns Institutions Against Errors NYSC specifically warned Students Affairs Officers to be extremely careful when collating and uploading graduates' information. The Corps stated that requests for correction of errors after upload will not be entertained . This means institutions are expected to ensure that candidates' names, matriculation details and other mobilisation information are properly captured before submission. Hard Copies of Senate Lists to Be Submitted in Abuja After the online upload, institutions will also be required to submit hard copies of their approved Senate/Academic Board lists. According to the NYSC circular, submission of hard copies is scheduled for: September 1–5, 2026 The documents are to be submitted at the NYSC National Directorate Headquarters, Abuja . Importantly, the submissions are to be made personally by the Students Affairs Officers of the institutions . NYSC warned that failure by an institution to complete the required submission could prevent its graduates from having the opportunity to register when the portal is eventually opened for online registration. Documents Must Be Signed and Stamped NYSC further directed institutions to ensure that every page of the hard-copy Senate/Academic Board list is stamped and signed , while the document must also be duly indemnified by the Registrar. Institutions are therefore advised to strictly comply with the requirements to avoid problems affecting their graduates. Does This Mean NYSC Batch C Online Registration Starts August 24? No. Prospective Corps Members should take note that the August 24–31 period announced in the circular is for schools to upload their Senate/Academic Board-approved lists . It is not the online registration period for individual prospective Corps Members . The circular indicates that online registration for graduates will be opened subsequently, but it does not state the date for the commencement of individual NYSC Batch C registration . Candidates should therefore avoid confusing the institutional Senate-list upload period with the actual online registration date. What Prospective Corps Members Should Do Now Graduates expecting mobilisation under the 2026 Batch C should begin following up with their institutions, particularly their Students Affairs Units, to ensure their names have been properly processed for mobilisation. Once institutions complete their uploads, prospective Corps Members should also monitor the NYSC portal to confirm their Senate-list status when the relevant checking facility becomes available. Graduates should ensure that details such as their names and other academic records correspond with the information held by their institutions. Why Senate List Upload Is Important Being properly uploaded by a Corps Producing Institution is an important stage in the NYSC mobilisation process. A graduate whose institution fails to properly submit the approved list may experience difficulty proceeding with online registration when the NYSC registration portal eventually opens. This is why affected graduates are advised not to wait until online registration begins before confirming that their institution has processed their mobilisation details. NYSC 2026 Batch C — Important Dates at a Glance Senate/Academic Board List Upload: August 24–31, 2026 Hard-Copy Submission to NYSC Headquarters: September 1–5, 2026 Online Registration for Prospective Corps Members: Not yet announced in the circular Batch: 2026 Batch ‘C’ The circular was signed by Mohammed Abdullahi Illo, Deputy Director (Mobilisation), for the Director, Corps Mobilisation . OGB Admission Hub Advice Graduates expecting to participate in the 2026 Batch C NYSC mobilisation should contact their school's Students Affairs Unit and begin monitoring their mobilisation status. Do not assume that the August 24 opening means you should immediately begin NYSC online registration. That period is specifically for institutions to upload approved graduate lists. OGB Admission Hub will provide an update once NYSC announces the official 2026 Batch C online registration date, timetable and further mobilisation instructions . 🌐 www.ogbadmissionhub.com
