YABATECH Post-UTME Form 2026/2027 is Officially Out: Avoid This Major Registration Mistake & Secure Your Admission

The wait is over! The Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has officially opened its Post-UTME application portal for the 2026/2027 academic session. If you chose Nigeria’s premier polytechnic as your first choice, the race for admission has officially begun. Thousands of candidates are rushing to the portal right now, but securing your spot requires more than just buying the form. It requires strategy, precision, and the right tools. Here is everything you need to know about the portal update and how to guarantee your spot on campus. The Portal is Live: Take Note of This Critical Warning The official YABATECH portal is now active for NEW APPLICANTS . To log in, candidates must use their JAMB Registration Number as their username. However, before you proceed, there is a massive red flag you must be aware of. Directly on the login screen, YABATECH management has issued a strict directive: "Kindly note that once you've entered your number of O'Level examination sittings, it cannot be corrected." This is not a suggestion; it is a permanent rule. Whether you are using one sitting (e.g., WAEC only) or combining two sittings (e.g., WAEC and NECO), you must be absolutely certain before you click submit. A simple typographical error here will permanently lock your profile and disqualify you from the admission process. Eligibility: Do You Qualify? Before heading to the portal, ensure you tick all the boxes: First Choice: YABATECH must be your first choice institution. Minimum Score: Ensure you meet the standard 150 cut-off mark for ND programs (or 160 for degree affiliates). O'Level Credits: A minimum of five (5) relevant credit passes, including English and Mathematics.
