What This Means for UI Candidates Candidates should understand that these are departmental admission cut-off marks , not raw JAMB scores. A candidate seeking Medicine, for example, should compare the relevant admission aggregate with the published 80.00 Merit/Catch or 73.50 ELDS threshold , depending on the applicable admission category. Similarly, a candidate applying for Software Engineering will be looking at 75.375 under Merit and Catch , while Nursing Science stands at 74.50 . Candidates whose aggregate falls below the published threshold for their chosen programme should closely monitor further instructions from the University of Ibadan concerning the admission exercise. Candidates Should Monitor JAMB CAPS Following the release of the departmental cut-off marks, UI candidates are advised to regularly monitor their JAMB CAPS and the University of Ibadan admission portal for subsequent admission developments. Candidates should also ensure that their O'Level results and other admission information are correctly reflected on JAMB. OGB Admission Hub Advice Do not compare these figures directly with your raw JAMB score. Your admission aggregate is what should be compared with the departmental cut-off applicable to your course and category. For candidates whose scores fall below the required threshold, avoid paying individuals who claim they can bypass official admission requirements. Follow announcements from the University of Ibadan and JAMB concerning your admission status.
