OGB ADMISSION HUB
Editorial and corrections policy
Updated 26 October 2026. OGB Admission Hub publishes education reporting and practical guidance for Nigerian applicants. OGB Innovative Technical Services is the publisher; Ogbonna Obasi is the founder. The OGB News Desk byline identifies the publishing team rather than an institution or examination body.
Sources and practical value
Reports should identify the institution or organisation making an announcement, the relevant academic session and announcement date, and link to the official notice where available. When relying on another news organisation or a report from students, the basis should be stated. We aim to explain what an update means for applicants, what is confirmed and what remains unannounced.
Source attribution does not mean that OGB owns a source’s text or images. We should add useful explanation and avoid reproducing substantial third-party material without appropriate rights. See content use and reproduction to report a rights concern.
Automation and editorial publication
The admission-form and scholarship trackers use automated extraction and scheduled checks of official source pages. Their source links, check dates and status labels help readers verify a notice; extraction can miss or misinterpret information. Newsroom articles are published through an administrator-controlled desk. Writing or research tools may assist preparation, but publication requires checking the final text, source, dates and claims.
Automated admission-form listings and forum screens are excluded from Google advertising. Publishing an article or displaying an account-verification tag does not mean Google has endorsed its content.
Older reports
An article’s publication date matters. Historical announcements may have been superseded. A source-review queue identifies older reports that need clearer provenance, expansion, consolidation or updating. Brief announcements placed on editorial hold are removed from public listings while their originals are retained for review. Restored reports must be checked and published by an administrator; source links alone do not prove accuracy.
Corrections
Email ogbadmission@gmail.com with “Correction” in the subject, the article URL, the disputed detail and supporting official evidence where available. We review reports of errors and correct, clarify, update or withdraw material as appropriate. A substantial factual correction should be identified in the article. Please avoid sending confidential records in public comments.
Independence and commercial services
Paid admission assistance is a separate service and does not give OGB authority over admission or scholarship decisions. Advertising or sponsored material, where used, should be distinguishable from reporting. We do not sell guaranteed admission, scholarship places or live examination answers.
Community contributions
News comments are reviewed before publication. Forum posts can be reported and moderated. Users should provide useful advice, identify sources for admission claims and keep student records, passwords and OTPs private.
