JAMB 2027 Pre-Registration App: What Is Confirmed and How to Avoid Fake Downloads

Editorially revised on 28 October 2026. This independently rewritten edition corrects or clarifies the older OGB report. All dates and requirements below refer to the academic session stated; verify new notices before paying fees or applying.

Is the 2027 JAMB pre-registration app ready to download?

The original article described a National Digital Pre-Registration App as though candidates could already use it. At this October 2026 review, we have not confirmed a public download page, a release date or complete candidate instructions on JAMB's official website. The earlier headline therefore overstated the app's availability.

JAMB has digital candidate services and accredited CBT registration arrangements. Announcements or plans for a new pre-registration method should not be confused with a fully released, official consumer app.

What 2027 candidates can safely prepare

Check that your name, date of birth and NIN data are accurate. Research your chosen programme's subject combinations using JAMB's official IBASS eligibility checker , and keep access to your own mobile number. For registration, use only the Board's official instructions and accredited CBT centres when the appropriate registration window opens.

Fraud warning

Do not download an app from an unfamiliar link or pay anybody who says they can reserve a 2027 UTME slot before JAMB announces the procedure. Avoid sharing your NIN, password or OTP with social-media agents. JAMB's FAQ explains current official registration requirements.
