FUNAAB 2026/2027 Post-UTME: Corrected Screening Fees and Extended Deadline (Historical Notice)

What did FUNAAB's official admission portal say?

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), published online application instructions for the 2026/2027 screening exercise. The university's admissions page listed a ₦2,000 screening fee and a ₦3,000 portal access fee , excluding payment processing charges. These were to be paid using the official portal's generated Remita reference.

The older OGB report stated a ₦1,000 portal access fee; that figure was inconsistent with the official admissions page and has been corrected.

What was the registration deadline?

FUNAAB's notice gave an opening date of 2 June 2026 . The same official page retained the original 24 July 2026 closing date and displayed an extension to 14 August 2026 . Both dates have passed as of 28 October 2026. Candidates should not assume registration is open unless FUNAAB issues a new official announcement.

How was the application completed?

Visit the official FUNAAB 2026/2027 admissions portal .

Sign in using the candidate's JAMB UTME or Direct Entry registration number.

Enter contact information and generate the official payment invoice.

Pay the listed fees through Remita and return to the portal to complete and review the application.

Submit and print the completed registration form when the university's application window permits.

Those steps describe the announced 2026 procedure, not a claim that new applications are being accepted today. Applicants should check their own screening and admission status directly with the university and JAMB. Do not pay a third party who promises to reopen a closed portal or guarantee placement.
