By OGB Admission Hub | Updated 26 October 2026

The Federal University of Science and Technology, Epe (FUSTECH), has established its online presence, giving prospective students a place to follow its academic plans and admission announcements.

There is also a significant update for candidates interested in the new federal university: in a notice dated 25 October 2026 , FUSTECH announced NUC approval for 34 undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session .

Admissions are still described as opening soon. Candidates should wait for the university’s official application announcement before making payments or attempting to register.

A new university in Epe

Located in Epe, Lagos State, FUSTECH describes itself as a science, technology and innovation-driven institution. Its website identifies Professor Kazeem Adeola Oshikoya as Vice-Chancellor.

The institution’s stated direction centres on practical technical skills, research and solutions to national and global problems. Its website provides information about its leadership, academic development and plans for public engagement.

For candidates and parents, the most useful function of the website at this stage is access to official notices as the university prepares for its first admission exercise.

Why this list differs from earlier reports

Earlier information about FUSTECH’s academic structure referred to Environmental Sciences and a broader range of management courses.

The more recent take-off announcement specifically names Allied Health Sciences and Management Sciences and Technology among its five faculties. Prospective applicants should therefore use the dated take-off notice when checking the announced programme list.

A course mentioned on a general faculty page should not automatically be treated as available in the first admission exercise. Candidates should also check the precise course titles and qualification requirements when the application notice is released.

Has FUSTECH started admission?

The latest official notices reviewed for this report describe the admission exercise as commencing soon .

In an update dated 23 October 2026 , the university stated that the NUC inspected its facilities on 21 October 2026 . It said the admission portal would open shortly and that application procedures would be announced subsequently.

The programme-approval announcement is an important development, but it is not itself a notice that registration has opened.

What should interested candidates do now?

OGB Admission Hub’s preparation advice:

Identify your preferred course and review your UTME and O-level subjects.

Organise your examination results and admission-related documents.

Check the university’s website regularly for the actual application opening date.

Read the forthcoming notice for course-specific requirements, payment instructions and deadlines.

Confirm any proposed JAMB change of institution against current official instructions before proceeding.

Do not assume that a general FAQ entry, an “Apply Now” label or a circulating flyer establishes that the current screening exercise is open.

Beware of admission fraud

FUSTECH’s homepage warns prospective candidates against paying individuals or groups claiming to facilitate admission. It directs applicants to its official website for screening announcements.

Any eventual application payment should follow the instructions and verified route published by the university. An offer to reserve a place privately should not be treated as an official admission process.
