JAMB CAPS Admission Acceptance: Direct Option Observed by OGB and Account-Specific Instructions

Candidates can now accept admission offers directly through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS), without using the SMS acceptance method.

OGB Admission Hub confirmed this functionality with students at its office , who were able to accept their admission offers directly on CAPS without completing an SMS acceptance step.

The development provides a more direct process for candidates whose admission offers are ready for acceptance.

How to Accept Admission on JAMB CAPS

Visit the official JAMB e-Facility portal .

Log in with your registered email address and password.

Select Check Admission Status .

Click Access my CAPS .

Open Admission Status .

Review the institution and course offered, then select Accept Admission and confirm your decision.

Check that your admission status reflects successful acceptance.

Candidates should carefully review their offers before confirming acceptance. After completing the process, they should proceed with printing their JAMB admission letter and follow their institution’s registration and clearance instructions.

This confirmation concerns direct admission acceptance observed on the students’ accounts checked by OGB Admission Hub. It does not establish that JAMB has permanently discontinued SMS acceptance nationwide or withdrawn its other SMS services.
