YABATECH 2026/2027 Post-UTME: Correct Entry Thresholds and Dated Application Notices

Yaba College of Technology’s notice dated 1 July 2026 invited eligible applicants to its 2026/2027 screening exercise. That historical opening notice should not be used as evidence that applications remain open today.
Correct the score before acting
The July notice specified a minimum UTME score of 160 for both full-time National Diploma applicants and the B.Sc. Education programmes offered in affiliation with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. It also referred to first-choice status and an age requirement of 16 by 30 September 2026.
The earlier OGB article gave 150 for ND applicants. That figure has been withdrawn because it does not match this 2026/2027 notice.
Check the latest notice for your route
The opening announcement described a four-week application period. The college subsequently listed a final closure notice dated 22 August 2026. Applicants should check the latest applicable notice rather than calculate a current deadline from this archived report. Separate admission routes and later exercises may have different instructions.
Use the college’s own website to reach its application services. Confirm the programme, session, payment instructions and registration status before submitting money or personal information. Save the confirmation and receipt after a successful application.
A paid registration service cannot guarantee a place. Review every entry before submission, but do not accept unsupported claims that any typing error automatically causes permanent disqualification.
Correction, 26 October 2026: Updated the ND threshold, removed admission guarantees and replaced the timeless “form is out” framing with dated source information.
